Learning self defense is an essential survival skill and will equip you with the knowledge to protect yourself and those close to you.

An exciting and serious course, this high energy workshop is packed with fun and motivation to get you where you need to be both fit and self-defending.

We begin our workshop with an effective bodyweight warm-up, followed by an overview of basic strikes (punches and kicks). We describe exactly how to strike for maximum effect and minimum self-harm. Our number one priority is to keep you safe while training.

Next, we present a threat or altercation scenario and break down the necessary self-defense response into easy-to-understand steps. By working with partners, we’ll make sure you have confidence every step of the way. We work on defenses against threats and attacks such as strangulations, bear hugs, assaults, kidnappings and weapons.

The workshop ends with a self defense exercise where you practice what you have learned and develop your situational awareness.

This workshop will strengthen your mental capacity, resilience and physical preparation in case you need it. As you push yourself and your partners through obstacles, you’ll build the support you need to never give up! Strengthen body and mind and train like never before.

No experience is necessary. All levels are welcome!
12 years and over. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.
