MD inspects the RWMC workshop, the transfer station

Rawalpindi: Additional Assistant General Commissioner Rawalpindi and Captain (r) Qasim Ijaz of Rawalpindi MD Waste Management Company visited the workshop and transfer station of RWMC and applauded the workers and field officers for their good job, says a press release.

He instructed the officers that cleanliness should be strictly monitored and strict measures should be taken against staff absent from their place of work, cleanliness should be ensured daily, garbage should be carried daily to the dump station. An additional number of workers are to be deployed in different shifts, who are to be engaged in cleaning, desilting of drains, washing of containers and clearing of empty plots, mechanical sweeping and road washing are also to be continued at night, workers should also continue to sprinkle lime after cleaning.

Later, Rawalpindi Waste Management Company communication team visited mosques in UC 14, Block F, Satellite Town on Friday, met with imams, briefed them on cleanliness and campaign efforts anti-dengue fever, the communications team called on the imams to pass on our message of cleanliness to the faithful in their Friday speech.

On this occasion, they also distributed cleanliness awareness brochures to worshipers visiting mosques.
