Five-day national-level art workshop ends

UDHAMPUR, October 23: Organized by renowned artist from Jammu KK Gandhi, a five-day national level art workshop concluded today.
The workshop was an initiative of the Northern Command initiative and was organized under the aegis of the HQ 71 subzone. A total of eight nationally and internationally renowned artists participated in the five-day event. They all exhibited their rich experience and best skills in their paintings.
The event was opened by COS Northern Command. The army organizers provided all the artists with a touch of nature in Patnitop where they also enjoyed the gondola ride. In the latter part of the event, the AWWA Regional President also joined in the practice and provided all the logistics to entertain and congratulate the performers, including the Grand Army Band exhibit and the musical evening.
The artists organized an art workshop for students and children to educate them and spark their interest in the visual arts. On the last day, all participating artists performed live paintings in the presence of a large gathering of civilians and military personnel who received huge applause from the spectators.
