Equine Rotavirus Workshop 2021 – Business Solutions for Equine Practitioners

The University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food and Environment invites you to the 2021 Equine Rotavirus Workshop on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Keeneland Racecourse from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Eastern time. There will be a livestream of the event, which is free and open to the public.

Generously sponsored by Keeneland, this workshop will feature equine rotavirus in foals and the work being done by the Gluck Equine Research Center and the University of Kentucky Veterinary Diagnostic Lab in collaboration with clinicians and herds in the spring of 2021. The majority of the workshop will focus on the discovery of the novel variant of rotavirus B found in foals with neonatal diarrhea, strategies for detection, control and prevention of infections, as well as a discussion of rotavirus A. – interactive workshop in movement.

The workshop will take place in person at Keeneland and will also be webcast live for virtual participation via Zoom Webinar. It’s free to attend.
