Cardboard Superhero Weekend Workshop
January 15 & 16, 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Build your favorite cardboard pop culture characters, such as Wall-E, Minecraft Steve, Captain America’s Shield, Thor’s Hammer, PAC-MAN, and more with cardboard superheroes, a non-profit organization that promotes the arts in education.

In this special 2-day workshop only at the Comic-Con Museum, come and meet the founding teenagers of Cardboard Superheroes, Connor Lee and Bauer Lee, who have been building life-size models since they were in 4th grade. They’ve expanded their collection to include HulkBuster, C-3PO, Groot armor and more! As a bonus, you can create your own special effects action video with SEARCH Your Voice, an organization that helps kids build confidence and become better speakers. Become your favorite superhero, such as Captain America, Thor or Wonder Woman, shoot lightning bolts, dodge lasers or use the power of Mjölnir!

Bring your leftover cardboard boxes from the holidays to build the models, so we can all work to recycle and support a sustainable world.

Admission: Free for museum visitors on January 15 and 16 on a first-come basis

Saturday-Sunday, January 15-16, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Conrad Prebys Art Studio
